Haygrove's trip to Barcelona - by Hannah and Evie
Some of our students had the fantastic opportunity to travel to Barcelona on a school trip in April. Here's what some of our students Hannah and Evie had to say about the trip:
The sights were lovely and we got to do things we didn't expect such as going to Barcelona FC and inside the Sagrada Familia.
There was a huge variety of food - even our fussiest friends managed. Best by far was inside the Boquería Market where we got fresh strawberries and churros. Dinner at Hard Rock was great but Manolo, the owner of the Tapas restaurant, was fab - we loved the calamari, the paella and of course the patatas bravas. Papa Ollie couldn't get enough whilst Maisie liked the croquetas. We were surprised by the variety of shops and independent sellers in the city centre too - really different to a UK high street. We even managed a cheeky ride on the Metro and a visit to a slide in Sephora (blame Miss Marcuccilli!).
We would highly, recommend the trip 100% - it's the best trip in school as you get to experience going on an aeroplane, spending time with friends and staff. The city is really beautiful!
