Personal Development Afternoon for Years 7-10

This was a fantastic afternoon for our students focussed on pastoral care and providing personal development opportunities to support character development.

Mr Owen led some fantastic team building activities and it was great to be outside in the sunshine. All year groups had an assembly from Bridgwater and Taunton College - we are grateful for their time coming to talk to our students about their future options.

Our tutors took on the challenge to fold a t-shirt the Japanese way in 3 seconds. This aimed to improve students' resilience when learning a new task. Hopefully it might be a transferable skill to help with tidying bedrooms too as an added bonus!

This was an amazing afternoon and the students were talking very positively about each part at the end of the day.
